Leaving from Comarca del Moncayo

Ólvega and Ágreda, at the foot of the Moncayo near the Aragón border, form the province's industrial hub, with firms working in shifts. They are closer to Tarazona and Zaragoza than to Madrid, and much of their work and business travel heads towards the Ebro valley.

Which way it goes

From the Moncayo to Madrid the route first goes down to Soria on the N-122, then continues on the A-15 and N-111 to the A-2 at Medinaceli. Another option is to head towards Zaragoza and pick up the A-2 there, longer but on dual carriageway once in the Ebro valley.

From Soria, Barajas lies at the end of the A-2, before entering Madrid: there is no need to cross the city. With few trains and none direct to the airport, the road is the only reasonable option for an early flight.

When demand peaks

• Snow on Piqueras and the Moncayo (December to March): Soria is one of the coldest provinces in Spain, and in winter the Piqueras pass and the Moncayo heights may require chains. Trips to Logroño, the airport or the station need more margin in those weeks.

Tip: From El Burgo de Osma or San Esteban to Madrid, the route via Aranda and the A-1 is usually more direct than going via Soria; say so if you have a preference.

Airport pickup

For arrivals, the driver waits in the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track the flight number, so a delay costs nothing extra within the terminal’s complimentary waiting time.

For early flights

We recommend leaving Ágreda at least 211 minutes before you want to be at the check-in desk. We operate through the night, always with an advance booking.
