Which way it goes

To the north, the N-111 crosses the Piqueras pass towards Logroño; to the east, the N-122 leaves via Ágreda for Tarazona and Zaragoza; to the north-west, the N-234 leads to Burgos. Valladolid is reached via El Burgo de Osma and Aranda, and Guadalajara via Medinaceli and the A-2.

Pamplona is reached from Soria via Ágreda and Tudela, then on the motorway north through Navarre. There is no direct train, so a car is the practical way to make the trip in one go.

Tip: For Numancia or the Río Lobos Canyon without your own car, book both ways at once: there is no transport to improvise the return from there.
